Materials: Worsted weight yarn. (60g balls)
Yellow (A)- 3 balls
1 Ball each: White (B), Taupe (C), Charcoal (D), Brick (E)
24" circular knitting needle USA 6 (7) and straight needles USA 7 (8) or size needed to give gauge.
13 large bobbins.
Stitch holder.

Gauge: 9 sts= 2"; 13 rows= 2"

Back

With #6 (7) needles and color A cast on 75 sts.
Ribbing: Row 1:(Wrong side)P1, *K1, P1; rep from * across.
Row 2: K1, *P1, K1; rep from * across.
Repeat rows 1 & 2 for 2 1/2" ending with Row 1.
Work in stocking stitch (k 1 row, p 1 row) till work measures 13" from beg. or desired length to underarm (allow 1" for ribbing). End with a purl row.
Shape Armholes: Continuing in stocking stitch, bind off 6 sts at beg of next 2 rows.
Dec 1 st at each end of every knit row 6 times; 51 sts.
Continue in stocking st until armholes measure 8" ending with a purl row.
Shape Shoulders: Continuing in stocking st, bind off 7 sts at the beg of next 2 rows. Bind off.

Front
Work ribbing as for back.
Wind bobbins: 3 A, 3 B, 2 C, 3 D, 2 E.
Argyle Pattern: Row 1, With size 7 (8) needles, Join bobbin B and K 1 B, K 11 A, K 1 C, *K 11 A, K 1 D, K 1 B, L 11 A*, K 1 E, repeat between * once, K 1 C,  K 11 A, K 1 D.

Continuing in stocking st, work from pattern chart below starting with p Row 2 as for back till sts are bound off for armholes; 63 sts.
Shape Neck: Keeping pattern, K 2 tog, K 29, sl rem 32 sts to holder; 30 sts. Working until 3rd vertical diamond is completed, then with lines B and D until they reach the edge, then working with A only, dec 1 st every K row at neck edge 11 times. and at arm edge 5 times more; 14 sts. Work until same length as back to shoulders ending with P row.
Shape Shoulder: Bind off 7 sts at beg of next row. P 1 row. Bind off.
Sl next st on holder to safety pin for center neck, K in pattern to last 2 sts, K 2 tog. Work to correspond first side, reversing shaping.
Finishing: Sew shoulder seams. With #6 (7) circular needle and A, from right side pick up 104 sts around neck edge including the st on safety pin. Mark center st (from safety pin).
Rnd 1: Work in K1, P1 ribbing to 1 st before center st., sl next st and center st tog to right needle as if to K tog, K next st, pass 2 sl sts tog over K st. work ribbing to end. (2 sts decreased)
Rnd 2: Work 1 row even in ribbing. Repeat last 2 rows for 1". Bind off in rib st.
With A, from right side, pick up 101 sts along armhole edge. Work 1" ribbing as for back. Bind off in ribbing. Sew side seams.
